As employers and unions nationwide struggle with pharmacy costs that can consume as much as 40% of healthcare budgets, PBIRx, an independent adviser that audits pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and has recovered over $500 million for clients, is tripling its office space and expanding staff by 50% to meet rising demand.
