Pat is the Founder and President of PBIRx® Inc., proudly celebrating 30 years of service as the premier consulting firm in the Pharmacy Benefit Industry. After she identified the excessive profits realized by Pharmacy Benefit Managers and the lack of transparency to payors, Pat created a business model for PBIRx that is unique to the prescription benefit marketplace and has evolved as a true client advocate, providing a multitude of cutting edge solutions and technology to manage pharmacy costs resulting in optimal healthcare outcomes.

Learning new information is Pat’s passion, which she shares on a continuum with all PBIRx staff so that clients and strategic partners have the most current intelligence to make the best informed decisions based on clients’ needs and culture. Through her leadership, PBIRx prides itself on both client retention and staff longevity which is a result of learning, knowing and mastering the details of the rapidly changing pharmacy landscape and then connecting the dots to the right solution(s).

As one of the ten founders of Express Scripts where she worked for 13 years, Pat significantly contributed to their growth and profitability representing 4M lives, as a direct result of Pat’s knowledge and experience in healthcare. Prior to that, her career path started in both clinical and academia, working with prescribers and patients in the areas of Primary Care Practice, Radiology, Dermatology, Urology, and Ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine. She then moved on to a Marketing position with a pharmaceutical manufacturer calling on prescribers and pharmacies followed by her role as a representative in the Mail Order Pharmacy in 1987 with insurance carriers as her major clients.

Pat’s unique career history and understanding of the evolution, not only in the health care industry but also in the Pharmacy Benefit field for over 30 years, is a differentiator as she offers a sensitivity to all stakeholders. Her vast experience working with Fortune 100 companies, large and small employers, coalitions, managed health care plans, unions, hospitals, municipalities and third party administrators benefits all clients of PBIRx.

She attended Yale University, University of New Haven and South Central Community College staffed by Yale Professors.
